More wintry weather is set to hit the county as temperatures are set to drop below freezing tonight.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for Dorset from 7pm tonight when the temperature is forecast to drop to 0C.
Dig out your hot water bottle as by 4am teamperatures are set to drop to a chilly -1C.
According to the Met Office icy stretches are expected to form on Thursday night lasting into Friday morning.
A spokesman said: "There is likely to be some ice on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths leading to some injuries from slips and falls.
"In addition rain, hail, sleet and, over higher ground, snow showers will continue to push across western England.
"These may lead to some difficult driving conditions in places and some longer journey times."
The weather warning will be in place until 10am but temperatures are not set to rise above 1C all day tomorrow.
Gritters will be out in the north and central networks from 7pm which include Bridport, Beaminster, Sherborne, Blandford Forum and Dorchester.
Gritting in Purbeck will begin at 4am tomorrow morning.
