A man has been charged with alleged driving offences following a crash in which a passenger was taken to hospital.
Police, fire and ambulance services were called to two-car crash on the A350 at Hart Hill near Shaftesbury just after 6pm on Sunday.
A white Citroen Saxo and a blue Ford Focus were involved in the collision, and firefighters had to cut one casualty free from their vehicle.
A passenger in one of the cars was taken to Salisbury District Hospital. A police spokesman confirmed their injuries are not believed to have been life-threatening or life-changing.
The road was closed while police dealt with the incident and waited for vehicle recovery. It reopened around 9.50pm.
Police said a 25-year-old man, from Shaftesbury, has been charged with driving while over the legal alcohol limit, driving without due care and attention and using a vehicle without insurance.
He has been released on bail and is due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court next month.
