Hi readers, it’s William here this week, writing about the Winter Olympics

I have been really enjoying watching the Winter Olympics the last two weeks. It’s not every day that it’s possible to watch all these different winter sports and I think this makes it even more exciting.

In particular I am enjoying the bobsleigh, short track speed skating, the downhill and slalom skiing, ski jumping and hockey. Why? It’s because they are all dangerous and fast paced sports, and I find them exciting to watch.

I thought it was really good to see Lizzie Arnold win a gold, and Izzy Atkin win a bronze. I felt very proud and moved by watching them receive their well-deserved medals. I hope Lizzie doesn’t retire and we get to see her in Beijing in 2022.

It’s also made me interested to learn more about South Korea, and what is happening with their relationships with North Korea, and other countries. It sounds complicated though. Does anyone have an easy read history about these two countries, which will help me to learn more about them?

It’s not just the winter Olympics I’ve been watching either. Tomorrow I will be on the edge of my seat watching the Spurs and Rochdale replay, after Rochdale got the last minute goal in their last match. I hope Rochdale win.

I’m also loving the six nations rugby and as I’m writing this a week before it goes to print, am looking forward to watching England beating Scotland in the Calcutta Cup!

Next week I’m off to see Dippy the Dinosaur, so Emily and I will be writing about that soon too. Tune in to see what we thought!
