A SECOND man is due to appear in court in connection with an alleged stabbing in Weymouth, police said today.
It was reported that a man aged in his 20s was stabbed in Hereford Road at around 10.35pm on February 5.
He was treated for serious injuries but has since been released from hospital.
Dorset Police said a 23-year-old Weymouth man has been issued with a postal requisition to appear at Weymouth Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 19 for an offence of wounding with intent.
Louis Bromley Rafael Joseph De Leon, 24, of Weymouth, has previously been charged with wounding with intent and appeared in court earlier this month. He will appear at Bournemouth Crown Court next month.
