Staff at the Cafe on the Green at Poundbury prepared a hearty St Patrick's Day breakfast, when friends and supporters of a new project to expand mental health services in Dorchester and West Dorset enjoyed an early morning get-together. Breakfast was hosted by town crier Alistair Chisholm, assisted by a mischievous leprechaun and was attended by Anita Harries and David Upshall, who together have been spearheading the challenge of developing a range of mental health services specifically tailored for West Dorset in support of Dorset Mind. Also in attendance were representatives from Dorchester Lions, who have pledged to support the campaign to develop 'MIND in West Dorset' services through various club fund-raising events this year. Tim Harries from Dorchester Lions said: "The the club is proud to be associated with David's important initiative supporting Dorset Mind. The Lions club is currently planning its annual 10k and 2k Fun Run - which will be held on Sunday 6th May- and hopes that many will help to raise funds for this new campaign by taking part in this family-friendly event."
