MORE acts have been announced for Camp Bestival – including pop chanteuse Rae Morris, reggae overlord David Rodigan, plus Dub Pistols, Britpop Brass, and Huey Morgan’s NYC Block Party.

The family-friendly festival, held in the grounds of Lulworth Castle, from July 26-29, has a maritime theme this year.

Festival founder Rob da Bank said: “Spring has sprung and summer is finally on its way, so we thought we’d give you even more seafaring fun and games for this year’s Camp B!

“Something for everyone is our unspoken motto and from meet and greets with family favourites, pop stars, and reggae legends, to shenanigans and hoe-downs in Caravanserai, hopping in Pig’s Big Ballroom and amazing raving for all ages, we’ve never had so much to see and do.”

Young visitors should not miss the chance to see some familiar faces at Camp Bestival’s ‘meet and greets’ – Peter Rabbit™, Peppa Pig and Paddington™.

There will also be sets from Scratch Perverts & Mateo, Hak Baker, Grace Carter, Beans on Toast and Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer.

Raindance will jump to sets from Billy Daniel Bunter, Altern-8, Uncle Dugs, Liquid (live), DJ Faydz, DJ Vibes and Fat Controller and Big Fish Little Fish have sets from Mark Archer, Chris Liberator, Baker & Beale, Joe Muggs, High Eight, Little My and special guests to be announced.

And expect maritime merriment and more from Shadow Child, The Lovely Eggs, 77.78, Adam French, Miss Kiddy & The Cads, Lekiddo Lord of The Lobsters, Junior Jungle, Opus Kink, The Curious, Everything Imagined, Jim8Track, Dapper Dan, English Disco Lovers, DJ getbacktothebeat and Funky Little Choir.

Ramshackle wonder-stage Caravanserai has a kids’ drum n bass special, Welcome to the Junglist Kids, on Thursday with DJ Chris Tofu. Friday’s frolic is Punk Rock for All the Family with Nose Bleed, DJ Toxic, Still Hate Thatcher Live and some unmissable Pogo Workshops! Saturday shenanigans centre on The Wedding Guests with Oy My God! It’s the Church, Balkanoes, DJ Penny Metal, Faith i Branko and DJ Ludec. While Sunday will resound to the sound of a Tropical Tea Party, with a Sounds of the Tropical Remix, DJ Hiphoppapotamus, Vibe Roulette, Tropical Bass and Samba Jungle.

There will also be music from Tal National, Dat Brass, Guns of Navarone, Miss Kiddy and The Cads, Swing Zazou, Zoot Zazou, and Swing Dance and DJ sets from Thrill Collins, Pronghorn, Kings Gambit, Bring Back The Wolf, Acoustic Disco, Hoedown Remix, DJ Penny Metal’s Polka Party, Buffos Wake, Jack Hollywood: Fish Fry & Reggae Show, DJ Chris Tofu’s Around The World in 80 Tunes, Junior Jungle, Pete Caravanserai & Friends, DJ Steffee Pants & more. Pig’s Big Ballroom will be hopping to music from Fred's House, Black Kat Boppers, Lost Revellers, Terrifying Travelling Tipsy Termites, Vote Pedro, Chloe and Gianni and Paul McCaffrey. Plus, there will be fun times with Laurel and Hardy and DJ sets from Greg’s Greats, DJ GG, Tony Tunes, It’s a Wind-up, Ms Chameleon’s Mechanical Melodies, Brother Graham’s Hayride, DJ Duncan Gunn, DJ Li’l Miss Lonesome and DJ Mr Jules.
