I read with interest your article about rubbish being dumped and how upset the farming community have become.

Quite right and so they should be. They work long, hard hours to produce the food we eat and certainly don’t deserve to be treated this way.

Ironic really, as they have scant regard for the law themselves. A previous article in your paper reminded farmers of their obligations under the law to clear up the mess they leave on the roads.

Do they not realise the great clods of mud and manure they leave on the roads are a real danger to cyclists and motorcyclists?

I do not condone fly tipping in any way but come on farmers, put your house in order and then moan.
