You can have your say on the new idea for Weymouth's seafront lighting scheme today.

Plans drawn up by award-winning design studio Tonkin Lui are to be exhibited in Weymouth Library today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday.

The design aims to celebrate the sweep of Weymouth Bay, and unify the three distinct character areas of the seafront; the peninsula, the main Esplanade, and Greenhill.

As well as getting a chance to view the plans, people can have their say on how the light display could be programmed, the kinds of displays that could be incorporated, and the times of day different patterns of light could be shown.

The exhibition will be held at Weymouth Library today, Friday, May 18 from 10am to 5pm, and tomorrow, Saturday, May 19 from 9am until 4pm.

The plans will also be available online at dorsetcoasthaveyoursay.co.uk from today until Thursday, May 24.
