*Get some crazy culture into your life this weekend.

The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged) is an irreverent, fast-paced romp through the Bard’s 37 plays at Weymouth Pavilion.

Join madcap performers in tights from the National Production Company as they weave their way through all of Shakespeare’s Comedies, Histories and Tragedies in one wild ride that will leave you breathless and helpless with laughter.

There’s a performance tonight (Fri) and tomorrow (Sat) at 7.30pm. Call the box office for tickets.

*Who doesn’t love The Wurzels? Especially when they’re inviting their friends along!

These famed cider drinkers will be performing at Weymouth Pavilion on Sunday from 7pm in an evening organised by Weymouth Rotary Club.

Joining them are Rock Choir Dorset, WOW, and Let’s Dance. The evening will be compered by Darron Garnett. Call the box office for tickets.

*There’s a rare opportunity to see a much acclaimed singer songwriter on the Artsreach tour with weekend.

Zambian-Scottish singer Namvula crosses boundaries with a refreshing honesty and evocative lyricism, transporting listeners into different worlds whilst staying firmly rooted in African soil.

She will be at Winterborne Stickland Village Hall tonight (Fri) and Broadmayne Village Hall near Dorchester tomorrow (Sat). Both performances are at 7.30pm. See artsreach.co.uk for ticket information.

Namvula’s debut album Shiwezwa was released in 2014 to critical acclaim, and was selected as one of the top 100 albums of 2014 by The Sunday Times. Namvula is also starring in Radio 1’s Big Weekend this summer.

*Popular annual event the Spring Tide Food Festival returns to Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock this weekend. It’s open 10 am to 4pm tomorrow and Sunday.

Expect to find everything on the shopping list from fresh fish & local meat, artisan bread, cheeses and a selection of locally made beer and cider. You'll also find a selection of quality products from local craftsmen and artists.

*Appreciate some Spring beauty with Athelhampton Flower Festival at Athelhampton House near Dorchester on Sunday.

It takes place between 11am and 4.30pm. You can enjoy many displays of fresh and dried flowers around the house and gardens. Money will be raised for a local charity.

*A SEA of pink will be surging round Kingston Maurward College near Dorchester on Sunday.

Head to the course and support the women who will taking part in the Race for Life 5km and 10km to raise money for Cancer Research UK. The races get under way at 11am.

*Jane Austen fans should head to Lyme Regis this weekend for a new adaptation of Persuasion at the Marine Theatre.

The town is a fitting setting given its status as the inspiration for this Austen novel when its writer was holidaying in the resort.

Theatre6’s premiere of Jane Austen’s final novel, Persuasion, is adapted for the stage by acclaimed playwright Stephanie Dale and directed by Theatre6’s award winning Kate McGregor. Performances are tonight and tomorrow. Call the box office for tickets.

*Meet a musketeer at Corfe Castle this weekend.

Travel back in time and meet a Royalist musketeer from the Civil War. Practice your soldier survival skills, including flint and steel fire making, cartridge making and sword school. Activities are being held between 10am and 6pm tomorrow and Sunday.

*Vegans will be heading to Bridport Vegan Festival tomorrow between 10am and 2.30pm at Bridport Youth and Community Centre in Gundry Lane.

You’ll be able to enjoy delicious hot and cold food, makeup and skincare, crafts, ethical clothing, information and advice! Entry is free.

*Events are being held at Durlston Country Park, Swanage this weekend.
