KEY figures in the business community came together last night for the Dorset Echo Industry Awards.
The prestigious awards ceremony took place at the Dorset Training Academy in Weymouth College.
The celebrations started with a bang with The Voice’s Lauren Bannon welcoming guests before the awards presentation got underway.

Best Social Media Marketing Winner – The Dorset Burger Company
Best Business Development or Innovative Idea Winner – Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum
Best New Business Winner – Luke Hayter Fitness
Best Contribution to Local Tourism Winner – Portland Port
Best Product or Service Winner - Age Space Dorset
Best Community Engagement – Winner – Café on the Green
Best Apprenticeship Employer Winner – Wyvern Academy
Best Woman in Business – Winner – Sarah Attwood
Best Dining Provider – Winner – Shalim’s Balti House
Best Long-Standing Business – Winner - Tecan
The winners will receive £250 of advertising in the Dorset Echo or on dorsetecho.co.uk and will also be featured in the category winners’ coverage in the Dorset Echo.
