DO YOU know this vehicle?

That's want police want to know as they investigated the theft of gardening equipment.

Officers have released this CCTV image of a vehicle believed to be linked to the offence.

At around 11.40pm on Friday, June 22 it was reported that a burglary had occurred at outbuildings near Shillingstone within the past hour.

The victim discovered a number of milk churns had been taken from a yard and various petrol-powered gardening tools had been stolen from inside one of the buildings.

The tools taken were two Husqvarna chainsaws, a Stihl blower, Stihl hedgetrimmer and a Stihl strimmer.

PC Glen Caddy, of North Dorset police, said: “We have obtained CCTV footage showing a suspicious vehicle that was in the area at the time.

“The vehicle is a four-door grey or silver pickup truck that has a silver bull bar with two spotlights on it. At the rear is a custom-made back, which is painted black.

“It is quite a distinctive vehicle and I am appealing for anyone who recognises it to contact us.

“I would also still like to hear from anyone who has been offered any items matching those taken during the burglary in unusual circumstances since Friday 22 June.”
