Portland Bill Coastguard Rescue Team were requested to assist a broken-down fishing vessel on the west side of Portland Bill.
The team recevied the call at 9pm on Saturday (7).
They were paged by the National Maritime Operations Centre along with Weymouth ILB to locate a small fishing vessel on the west side of Portland Bill.
The vessel had suffered an electrical fault with its engine.
On scene teams located the casualty vessel near the NCI lookout which was already under tow by a passing rib.
Once Weymouth ILB arrived on scene they continued the tow back to Weymouth Inner slip way, where we took details and offered safety advice.
