ON A SIZZLING day,13 teams journeyed to Piddlehinton for the annual celebration of touch rugby at Puddletown Rugby Club.
Overall winners were Scrambled Legs who beat Dorchester Touch in a thrilling final.
Spokesman Matt Roberts said: "It was a fabulous celebration of community involvement for both young and old, boys and girls.
"Team names from the sponsored Hearn and Sons to the colourful Scrambled Legs took to the field of play in perfect running rugby conditions.
"Club stalwarts Charlotte Watts and Jez Beale organised the day.
The bar served Piddle Brewery cider,the band played and the final was deferred to allow a switch of sport to watch a successful England football team."
