Police are appealing for help in tracing a man wanted for assault - and he may have links with Weymouth.
Thames Valley Police are appealing for the public’s help in tracing Ritchie Buckthorpe, aged 29 and also known as Ricky or Richard, who is wanted on suspicion of assaulting a woman in her twenties in Reading in May.
Buckthorpe, of Conway Road in Tilehurst, is described as white, around 5ft 9ins tall and of muscular build. He has blond hair styled in a bun, blue eyes and short facial hair.
Buckthorpe is believed to frequently visit Conway Road in Tilehurst, and Ashampstread Road, Reading. He is understood to have some links with Weymouth and may have travelled to the town.
Detective Constable Rachel Belsher, based at Reading station, said: “Anyone who sees someone they believe to be Buckthorpe we would advise them not to approach but please call 999.
“Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call us on 101.”
