We've experienced quite a summer this year - blue skies, scorching sunshine, with a lot more to come this week.
However, as we Brits know only too well, all good things usually come to an end, and never more so than with our frankly unpredictable weather.
So that we might be able to be a little more prepared, Glowing Embers have collated 30 years worth of data to discover when Dorset and the rest of the UK can expect its wettest day of the summer this year.
Dorset can expect its wettest day of the summer on August 5 with 1.7 inches of rainfull.
Scotland is set to be hit with the most rainfall on their wettest day of summer, with a very soggy 3.1 inches of rain on August 10.
Just behind them is Northern Ireland, also on August 10 (2.5 inches) and Wales on August 9 (2.4 inches).
