Coastguards were called to Durdle Door following reports of a woman having a panic attack.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon.
Wyke Coastguard attended the scene and assisted paramedics in transporting the casualty to Weymouth's Inshore Lifeboat (ILB).
The casualty was then transported to an awaiting ambulance at Lulworth Cove.
A spokesman for Wyke Coastguard Rescue Team said: “The teams also dealt with two heat related incidents whilst at Durdle Door before grabbing some well-earned fish & chips. With today's training and taskings a long shift of 10.5 hours was put in by some team members.”
