RESIDENTS still have time to have their say on a future plan for Portland.

The Portland Neighbourhood Plan has been created through listening to the views of residents and businesses and it has evolved to help deliver the community’s aspirations and requirements for the future up to 2031. The plan will provide a means of guiding, promoting and enabling balanced sustainable change and growth.

Consultation on the draft plan runs until 5pm on Monday, July 30 and Portland Town Council is inviting comments.

All responses received will be considered by the management group and the town council before a revised version is produced which will be submitted for examination.

Paper copies of the draft plan may be viewed at Tophill Library in Easton, Osprey Leisure Centre and the town council offices, Easton Lane. Comments forms will also be available at these venues.

Comment by completing the online form at portlandplan.org.uk or complete the paper form and submit it in the response box at the above venues or posting or taking this to the town council offices , 52 Easton St, Easton, DT5 1BT.

Alternatively residents can submit written comments in any form but must include your name, organisation (if applicable) and postcode for these to be accepted.

All comments will be publicly available and identifiable.
