A speedboat ran aground near Weymouth.
Weymouth RNLI Inshore lifeboat was called to the rescue after reports a speedboat was on the rocks near to Bowleaze Cove.
The lifeboat was launched at 1.24pm and was quickly on scene.
On arrival, the crew found the speedboat was high and dry on the rocks.
The crew had run the boat aground after being swamped.
All four persons on the speedboat had managed to get safely ashore and were being assisted by members of the Wyke Coastguard team.
After assessing the scene lifeboat crew left the incident in the hands of the coastguard and the lifeboat returned to Weymouth Harbour at 1.50pm.
