A bus service has been forced to run a revised service after badly parked cars blocked the route.

A spokesman from Damory Coaches said they had informed the police after the number 5 service was unable to reach scheduled stops due to "badly parked cars".

The number 5 usually runs between Weymouth and Dorchester via Crossways. 

However, the spokesman said the service is currently unable to serve any bus stops in Mount Skippet Way, Crossways and Dorchester.

Those wishing to use the bus are advised alternative stops are Dick o' Th' Banks Road and at The Co-Op Store in Warmwell Road.
