A CAR overturned after hitting a bank near Hardy's Monument at Portesham, Dorset Police said.
A woman who had been driving the red Ford Ka saloon called the emergency services after the incident today but declined an ambulance.
A police spokesman said two passers-by helped right the vehicle, which is registered to a Weymouth woman, and left it on the verge to await recovery.
