ALTERATIONS to a Weymouth housing development have been given the go-ahead by councillors.
Planning committee members have approved changes to the 69-home scheme on Dorchester Road, which will include 20 affordable housing units.
The former Redlands Farm Caravan Park development will now include an electric sub-station, an extra parking space and garages will be repositioned.
A pedestrian link to the north of the site has been deleted because of strong opposition from a nearby resident. Planning officers told Weymouth and Portland Borough Council's planning and traffic committee there would be pedestrian links on the other side of the site.
