PANCAKE day came a little late in Netherbury, but there was still a strong turn-out for the village's annual race day.
Adults and children lined up with their frying pans ready for a spot of half term holiday fun.
The pancake races are organised each year by the village church of St Mary's as a way of bringing families together.
There are ladies' and men's races as well as plenty of fun for the children.
After the races the village gets together for after-race pancake lunches in the village hall.
The event is always held in half term, irrespective of when Shrove Tuesday is, to give everybody in the village the opprtunity to take part.
