An illustrated talk about a prestigious Royal garden is to take place in Dorchester.
Harvey Stephens, former Deputy Keeper of the Royal Estate at Windsor, will host the talk on Thursday, October 13 at the Dorford Centre.
He'll discuss the 'history and glory' of the Savill Garden - described as 'Britain's finest ornamental garden'.
The garden, based in Egham, was opened by the Her Majesty the Queen in 2010 and includes an extensive rose garden.
Stephens, Head Gardener at Savill Gardens, will reflect upon what makes it so special .
The event is at the Dorford Centre, Dorchester on Thursday 13th October. Doors open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start.
Admission £5.00 includes refreshments, Students £3.00 and free to Plant Heritage Members.
Free parking in Top o' Town Car Park opposite the hall.
