The coast road between Weymouth and Bridport was closed this afternoon following a crash between two vehicles.
The collision took place between Portesham and Abbotsbury on the B3157 and police were called to the incident at 12.54pm.
The road was closed between The Swan Inn and the West Elworth turn off.
People in the vehicles suffered minor injuries, a Dorset Police spokesman said, and recovery was requested for the vehicles concerned.
Paramedics from the South Western Ambulance Service also attended the incident.
According to Dorset Council's live travel map, there were delays on the coast road as a result of the crash.
At 2.45pm it was reported that the road had later reopened.
