Firefighters have rushed to the scene of a blazing car on the side of the A35.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to an incident on the Upton Bypass just before 3pm on Saturday, June 24.

The front half of a car could be seen to be covered in flames off the A35 Upton bypass when coming into Poole.

One fire crew from Poole attended the incident and extinguished the fire using 2 hose reel jets and 2 breathing apparatus.

The vehicle was 50 per cent destroyed by the fire.
