A man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving in East Knighton.
Dorset Police Rural Crime Team were stopping larger vehicles and checking for stolen farm and plant machinery.
After stopping one driver in East Knighton, police suspected the driver was intoxicated and he was arrested.
A spokesperson for the Rural Crime Team said: "We often stop larger vehicles looking for stolen farm and plant machinery.
"This morning was no different. We stopped one vehicle in East Knighton and it became apparent the driver was suspected to be intoxicated.
"One is under arrest."
