A GARDENING club's annual show is being held in Fordington over the August bank holiday weekend.
Dorchester and District Gardening Club’s 77th annual show will take place at St George’s Church Hall, Fordington, Dorchester, DT1 1LB, on Saturday, August 26.
There will be classes for vegetables, fruit, flowers, handicrafts, cookery and photography.
Raffle and refreshments will be available. Doors will be open to the public at 2.30pm and the show continues until 4.30pm.
Entry costs 50p and there is free entry for exhibitors.
Awards will be presented by the Mayor of Dorchester, Councillor Alistair Chisholm at 4pm.
Entries are welcome (no entry fees, no prize money) by the closing date Wednesday, August 23.
