Bournemouth Airport has revealed that Ryanair has started adding flights to many destinations around Europe for the summer of 2024.

Flights to Tenerife, Majorca and Gran Canaria are now on sale for those looking to get their summer holiday booked in good time.

More routes are expected to be added in the coming weeks, so that people can get to many quality spots for their next holiday.

In a Facebook post, Bournemouth Airport shared: "!! Good News!! Ryanair have commenced adding flights for Summer 2024.

"Flights to Gran Canaria, Palma (Majorca) and Tenerife are now on sale and we expect to see other routes added over the next few weeks, so please keep an eye on our website!"

Late in 2022, Ryanair announced it would be basing a second aircraft at the airport in 2023, enabling 120 flights per week, a 30% increase on last year.

In March, the airline started new flights to Venice, Carcassonne, and Edinburgh, complementing its existing schedule.

Flights can be booked on the Bournemouth Airport website here.

TUI to host more frequent flights at Bournemouth Airport in summer 2024

Ryanair isn't the only airline that will have a large presence at Bournemouth Airport during the summer of next year as TUI is set to base a second aircraft there.

A new route to Enfidha in Tunisia will be introduced as part of the company’s expansion plans and flights to Ibiza, Lanzarote, Menorca, Heraklion, Paphos, and Tenerife will all be increased to operate twice a week.

Meanwhile, TUI is offering a twice-weekly service to Corfu, Heraklion, and Rhodes, as well as flights to Kefalonia and Zakynthos.

There will also be two flights a week to Dalaman and Antalya in Turkey, and four weekly flights to Mallorca, with two linking to Marella Cruises.
