A 'happy and relaxing' holistic fayre will be taking place in Chickerell.
The Holistic and Wellbeing Fayre will be taking place on Sunday, October 15 between 10.30am and 3.30pm at the Willowbed Hall in Chickerell.
The event, which is free to enter, will feature about 18 exhibitors and will be opened by the mayor of Chickerell.
On the opening day, the Rock Choir are performing and there will be a demonstration of Qi Gong. There will be a raffle and refreshments on offer.
All proceeds from the event go to DCH Cancer Services.
The event is organised by Jill Wintle.
She said: "My idea for the event in these worrying times is to make a happy and relaxed day that can help people forget their problems for a little while and relax and maybe with the proceeds help anyone with cancer.
"I have survived several cancers and understand how frightening it is for the person it affects and their loved ones."
Jill organised the 'New You Day Out In Weymouth' which took place in December last year.
