ASDA in Weymouth is set to close overnight for up to four weeks as the store undergoes a refit.
The store, which is usually open 24 hours a day, will be closed overnight for around four weeks.
A note seen on the storefront this morning said the store would be closing at 10pm "until further notice" from tonight.
The store will re-open each day at 6am.
The note said: "Due to the store refit this store will be closing at 22:00 hours until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
The supermarket will remain open during the daytime but will be closed overnight.
The supermarket giant has said in a statement that the refit will allow the store to include more of the retailer's "world foods and food-to-go ranges".
A spokesperson for Asda said: "I can confirm our Weymouth store will be closed from 10pm for up to four weeks as it undergoes a store-wide refresh that will not only enhance the look and feel of the store but also see some reconfiguration that will enable us to improve our offering, including our world foods and food-to-go ranges."
