A stolen van was reported to have been used to steal plant machinery.
Plant machinery was stolen from a site on Higher Shaftesbury Road in Blandford.
Police have now released an appeal for information into the theft which occurred in the early hours of November 24.
A stolen van with a cloned registration believed to have been involved with the theft was seized by police the same day.
A spokesperson for the Dorset Police Rural Crime Team said: "In the early hours of November, 24 plant machinery was stolen from a site on Higher Shaftesbury Road in Blandford.
"A stolen van on a cloned registration was seized by Police on November 24. This van was believed to have been used in the theft."
