TWO bands are joining forces on stage for an electrifying night of music.

David Graham, hailed as one of Nashville's hottest live entertainers, will take centre stage in Dorchester with his honky-tonk trio the Eskimo Brothers.

Ben Waters, of Weymouth, and his band will be special guests at the gig on Wednesday, December 13 from 8pm.

David's honky tonk trio has honed their stage show and sound from nearly 300 shows per year and thousands of hours in the Music City honky tonks in a variation of high energy ensembles.

When not playing their usual residencies in Nashville and Memphis, David has a steady line-up that tours throughout the US. Mark Robertson (Legendary Shack Shakers) carries upright and electric bass duties with Kevin Crowe (The Night Porters) on drums.

The band’s signature raw and rowdy delivery of American Roots music appeals to a wide audience, and much of it can be attributed to their own vast influences.

Every original song has qualities that are essential to a country melody and content, but played with the attitude that draws a rock fan to a genre that they would usually not listen to. Too rock 'n’ roll for country – too country for rock 'n’ roll – having too much fun to care.

Special guest Ben Waters and The Ben Waters Band have been rocking the scene since 1988, specialising in playing the music of their heroes Fats Domino, Amos Milburn, Albert Ammons, Huey Piano Smith and Professor Longhair.

Tickets are £26 and available from the website https://www.benwaters.com/gigs/1127/the-corn-exchange
