BOSSES at a holiday group, which has hotels in Weymouth, have said they are “delighted” as the firm enjoys a boost in turnover in 2023.

Daish’s Holidays has seen increased growth in both annual turnover and coach travel to its 12-strong portfolio of hotels.

Both turnover and coach travel have seen an increase of almost 10 per cent compared to the previous 12 months.

The independent family-owned business specialises in affordable UK coach and self-drive breaks to its collection of hotels in England and Wales.

Over the past year, Daish’s Holidays has welcomed 95,229 passengers on board its 35 luxury coaches 44 per cent of which travelled to the Midlands.

Daish's Holidays operates three hotels in Dorset: Hotel Prince Regent, Weymouth, and The Russell Hotel, Weymouth and The Bournemouth Sands, .

Paul Harper, commercial director at Daish’s Holidays, said: “We have been delighted with the growth in business over the last year, and anticipate a strong year for coach tourism in 2024 following the high level of interest we have received for new year bookings and beyond.

Daish’s Holidays will be celebrating 45 years as a family-run business in 2024.

The company said it is working on exciting plans for the next 12 months, including further investment to upgrade its coach fleet and the introduction of a new website.
