Road closures will be taking place on three roads in Charminster over the next few months.

Almost five months of multi-phased roadworks will be taking place on Vicarage Lane, Mill Lane and Wanchard Lane.

These began on Saturday, January 27 and are expected to be completed by Saturday, June 15.

These closures will enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution safe access to install 33kV cable to replace faulty cable.

  1. Vicarage Lane between January 27 and February 18, there will be three phases during this period.
  2. Mill Lane between February 14 and March 23, there will be two phases during this period.
  3. Wanchard Lane between April 18 and May 26, there will be three phases during this period.
  4. Wanchard Lane between May 26 and June 13.
  5. Vicarage Lane between June 1 and June 15.

An alternative route will be signed for each phase.
