DORSET-based animal rescue charity Margaret Green is seeking new homes for a number of animals in its care.

Dogs, rabbits, ferrets and even goats are all looking for permanent homes.

Can you help? All the details are below.

Dorset Echo: KyleKyle (Image: Margaret Green)

Kyle is a loving, six-year-old greyhound who entered our care after his racing career ended. As he hasn’t lived in a home environment before, he is looking for a kind and patient family who will help him adapt to this new way of life, without overwhelming him. Margaret Green said: “We believe Kyle would be happy living with adults, children over the age of 10 and a similar-sized dog, but he would be best suited to a home without cats.”

Dorset Echo: Dale Dale (Image: Margaret Green)

Dale is a terrier crossbreed who is approximately 11-months-old. He was extremely nervous upon arrival into our care, but his playful and cheeky personality is starting to shine through. His trust in people is growing every day, so he would love to find a family with adults who will continue building his confidence. Dale could live with a calm, female dog, but he would be best suited to a home without cats.

Dorset Echo: Siski Siski (Image: Margaret Green)

Siski is a 3-year-old, ex-racing greyhound who is looking for a new family that ideally have knowledge of his breed, and will be able to find the balance of encouraging him to investigate new things, without overwhelming him. We believe that Siski would be happy to live with adults, older children and a confident Sighthound to help show him the ropes, but he is looking for a home without cats or small furries.

Dorset Echo: Gary, Amy and Erin Gary, Amy and Erin (Image: Margaret Green)

Gary, Amy, and Erin are a trio of pygmy goats, aging from two to five-years-old, who are highly energetic. They are looking for a home with plenty of enrichment and secure fencing, which they will not be able to climb over or crawl under. They would love to find a home with accommodation that has plenty of hardstanding and a big shelter, to help protect them from the wind and rain in the colder months.

Dorset Echo: CocoCoco (Image: Margaret Green)

Coco is a 2-year-old Dutch rabbit who is looking for a home with a laidback, male rabbit to spend her days with. After arriving as a nervous soul, Coco has come out of her shell and blossomed into a confident, cheeky girl. She is looking for a home with a minimum living space of 10ft x 6ft, where she will have a wide variety of places to explore and hop around with her new companion.

Dorset Echo: Mark and Jeremy Mark and Jeremy (Image: Margaret Green)

Mark and Jeremy are a mischievous pair of twin brothers who are around one-year-old. They are looking for a home with experienced owners who will be home a lot to play and keep them mentally stimulated, or where they can join an existing group of ferrets. Mark and Jeremy have plenty of energy, so they would love to find a home where they will have plenty of enrichment opportunities to keep them happy and healthy.
