Temporary traffic lights will be put in place along the A35 between Bridport and Dorchester this evening (January 30) which is likely to cause some delays to traffic.
A two-way traffic light system will be put in place from 8pm from the start of Dualling North at Long Bredy to the junction of the of the B3159, near the Esso garage in Winterbourne Abbas.
Wessex Water is carrying out utility repairs and maintenance works and National Highways are also carrying out electrical works at the same time to minimise disruption.
A Wessex Water spokesperson said: “We’re working on our supply network, with temporary traffic lights in place to keep road users and our workforce safe.
“This work has been timed to coincide with National Highways electrical maintenance, minimising disruption, and is due to finish on Wednesday 31 January. We’re sorry for any delays to journeys.”
