A local community group is offering residents in Littlemoor the chance to help make a difference to the area.

Big4Littlemoor is looking for people in the area to make a lasting positive difference to their community by offering financial support for local projects.

Funded by Local Trust, via the Big Lottery Fund, Big4Littlemoor is reaching out to organisations and individuals who may be able to make a difference to the lives of those in Littlemoor and is inviting them to apply for a grant.

In the last year the partnership has funded various activities and services for residents including sports, cookery, youth club, family fun days, business start-ups and citizens advice.

A spokesperson for the group said: "It’s about bringing together all the local talent, ambitions, skills and energy from individuals, groups and organisations who want to make Littlemoor an even better place to live.

"Whether it is through a support service, event or activity, Big4Littlemoors main ask is that it makes a positive difference to the Littlemoor community.

"This is an amazing opportunity for anyone looking to work with the Littlemoor community.

Sasha Fancy, co chair of the organisation added: "Big4littlemoor is delighted to be able to have the opportunity to invite the wider community to apply for grants to enhance the experiences of those living in Littlemoor and we look forward to presenting these to the partnership for consideration."

All organisations or individuals that are interested in applying for a grant  should complete the application form online at www.big4littlemoor.com/application-form/
