An upcoming stage performance is set to mark a big milestone.

WOW Youth Musical Theatre Group is set to perform Footloose at Weymouth Pavilion from Wednesday, April 3 to Saturday April 6.

However, these performances are set to be met with a mix of emotions as it will be the last performance that nine of the members perform with the group as they move on to different chapters of their lives.

A spokesperson for WOW said: “We regularly have to say goodbye to members as their time with us comes to an end, but it is rare to have so many leaving at the same time.

“As they continue their journey towards further success, we encourage everyone to come along to the Weymouth Pavilion and support these talented individuals and witness the magic of 'Footloose' as they captivate the stage one last time.”

Footloose tells the story of Ren McCormack, a city boy who moves to a small town where dancing is prohibited.

With its iconic songs and exhilarating dance numbers, this musical promises to entertain audiences of all ages.

Performances will be held from 7pm each evening, with a Saturday matinee show at 2pm.

Tickets start from £17 and can be purchased here: https://weymouthpavilion.com/shows/wow-presents-footloose/.
