At the Prince of Wales School in Dorchester, youngsters were encouraged to come to school dressed in red or as their favourite superhero.
Whether it was Spider-Man, Wonder Woman, or a real-life hero, everyone was welcome to participate. Staff members also joined in the fun.
Headteacher Gary Spracklen said: "Superheroes come in all forms – from teaching assistants to family members – anyone who inspires you is a superhero.
"A suggested donation of £1 per child was brought into class on the day to support Comic Relief's vital work."
A bake sale was also held at the Maiden Castle Road school in aid of the good cause.
The after-school sale was a chance for all to indulge in delicious treats and kick-start the weekend on a sweet note.
Contributions of homemade or purchased cakes and treats from families were welcomed. Volunteers lent a hand selling the cakes during the event.
Mr Spracklen expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating: "Red Nose Day is a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together and make a difference in the lives of others. We are excited to see our children and staff embrace the spirit of giving and generosity."
Elsewhere, students at Just Dance Dorchester had great fun wearing red in class all week to raise money for Red Nose Day.
Dancers of all ages took part from pre-school dancers to Silver Swans.
Lisa Evans said: "Last year Just Dance raised over £700 for various charities and we hope to increase that to £1,000 this year."
In Weymouth, Rebecca Chelsey Bridge helped her daughters Elsie-Mae, 4, and
Florence-Rose, 2, bake cakes ready for nursery where they did a cake sale for Red Nose Day.
