One of the main roads through Chickerell will be closed for essential road maintenance works this spring.
East Street will be shut between May 16 and 21 from 9am to 4pm daily.
Dorset Highways will be carrying out targeted and localised repairs to the road.
The recommended diversion route is the B3157 Chickerell Road, Glennie Way and Putton Lane.
During the closure periods there will be on street parking available and temporary parking restrictions will be implemented to prevent waiting or parking on the road.
Any vehicle waiting in contravention of temporary parking restrictions may be removed.
