Repair work is underway on several roads in the Dorchester area with the routes being closed.

The route between Monkey's Jump Roundabout and Martinstown (the C53) is among those affected.

Work started on Thursday, March 28 and is expected to continue after the bank holiday until Tuesday, April 9.

Poundbury Crescent and Damers Road in Dorchester will also be closed for repairs within this period.

The work will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm each day. Only one road will be closed at any time.

This closure order will enable Multevo safe access to carry out carriageway repairs including kerbing, signposts and iron works.

An alternative route will be signed for each location.
