A music show celebrating ancient trees and woodlands is coming to Dorchester.
Musicians Emily Burridge and Karen Wimhurst will be performing All Trees are Clocks live at the Corn Exchange on Sunday, April 21 at 2.30 pm.
Their music will accompany field recordings and video curated by sound artist Adrian Newton, documenting how ancient woodlands are changing over time, as well as the potential impacts of climate change.
Emily is a virtuoso cellist whose recent work explored the soundscapes of the Amazon rain forest and the legacy of J S Bach. She also recently performed on Portland with writer Sarah Acton, premiering a newly commissioned spoken word, live music, and film piece Seiners at a live film screening.
