A TEENAGER has been rescued from a tree over a large pond.
The boy was stuck on top of a fallen tree over a deep pond in Moreton.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a location off Warmwell Road, Moreton, at 2.45pm on Sunday, April 21, to help the teenage boy who had become stuck.
A spokesperson for DWFRS said: “It’s been a busy afternoon as one fire engine was sent to Moreton to rescue a teenager who was stuck on a tree over a large pond.”
Crews from Dorchester Fire Station and Wareham Fire Station were joined by a technical rescue team from Poole to help rescue the boy.
Firefighters were able to enter the water and brought him to safety.
DWFRS received their stop, meaning that no further action was needed, at 3.55pm.
