BOURNEMOUTH Singer Carley Varley is set to perform at one of Hampshire's biggest festivals, CarFest, on August bank holiday weekend on the wigwam stage

Carley is an alternative pop/rock artist from Bournemouth and is gaining recognition for her unique sound and engaging performances. 

Beginning busking in Lymington, she has performed at Poole Harbour Festival and Wickham festival and has had singles such as 'Since you Left' and 'Better Without Me' feature on BBC Introducing. 

She has also won the Venus Award for Musical Talent in 2018 and reached the finals of Open Mic UK in 2019. 

The Wigwam Stage, hosted by brewers Timothy Taylor, was made to give an opportunity to upcoming and bold new musicians to perform in front of new audiences. 

CarFest was founded by Chris Evans in 2012 and has raises funds for UK children's charities. 

 In 2024, the festival will be supporting BBC Children in Need, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, My Black Dog, Rainbow Trust Children's Charity, Starlight Children’s Foundation, Teenage Cancer Trust, Young Epilepsy, and local Hampshire-based charity Naomi House & Jacksplace.
