The fun continued at the Dorset Hot Air Balloon festival on Sunday - although the weather wasn't as kind as the first day for the morning.

The festival, a two-day event which included live music and entertainment, started at the Dorchester Showground on Saturday and draw huge crowds.

As reported though the event wasn't without incident amid complaints about traffic congestion on the A35 as people made their way to the ground and a lack of facilities at the site.

Fog in the morning also meant there was no balloons flying in the morning.

However hot air balloons took to the skies above Dorset on Saturday night and the 'night glow' event looked spectacular.

Families said they enjoyed the festival on the whole despite problems.

Showers on Sunday meant fewer people travelled to the event than the previous day. But the sun came out later so people could enjoy a fine late afternoon and evening at the ground, and balloons lifted in the evening.

Due to the weather, a decision was made earlier in the day to finish the festival earlier wit some later events not gong ahead.
