A MURDER-accused woman has pleaded guilty to preventing the burial of a corpse.
Debbie Pereira, 39, changed her plea to guilty at Winchester Crown Court on Monday morning.
The defendant's lawyers accept she has no defence in law, the court heard.
She continues to deny murder and perverting the course of justice.
Pereira and Benjamin Atkins are currently facing trial accused of murdering 49-year-old Simon Shotton.
Mr Shotton’s severed remains were found dumped around Boscombe last summer.
Atkins, 49, has already admitted to charges of perverting the course of justice, and preventing the burial of a corpse, but denies murder.
The trial continues.
