C. Percival's letter Relief road will help us view countryside highlights a positive and hitherto unexpressed aspect of the project, and I, for one, fully agree with him.
Another advantage which I have not seen referred to in the press is that the new road will enable drivers to avoid the accident-prone Ridgeway section, and will put an end to the not infrequent problem of lorries getting stuck under the railway bridge.
