iTEA and Biscuits Week got off to a successful start in Dorchester when older people headed for Age Concern's cyber café to use a computer for the first time.
The week focused on encouraging older people to find out more about what computers have to offer. And Dorchester Age Concern's Mouse House was packed as novices explored the world of computers.
The national Age Concern promotion, previously knows as Silver Surfers Week, started with a morning devoted to encouraging people to test drive a computer.
Sessions entitled the Movie and Music Request Show - finding out about entertainment online - and the Gadget Show with a look at iPods, GPS, Wii, digital cameras and more, followed.
Wendy Hilton of Dorchester Age Concern said: "The Mouse House was packed and many people have signed up to our one-to-one computer courses."
