VOLUNTEER Ted Barrett - known as Super Ted' - was recognised for his efforts at Milton Abbas surgery.
Ted spent several years as a member of the Friends of the Practice volunteer team but has now left his home of Milborne St Andrew and moved to pastures new.
At a farewell lunch held at Milton Abbas Surgery in his honour, senior partner Dr Malcolm Hillier was joined by doctors Martin Longley and Julian Rees, members of the nursing team, administrative and reception staff, and patients and Friends of the Practice representatives.
On behalf of the surgery staff and patients, Doctor Hillier thanked Ted for his exemplary and dependable service and presented him with a gift in recognition of the support he had provided.
