A SCHOOL gym was transformed into a series of European villages to give students an insight into foreign languages.
The German, Spanish and French villages, set up at All Saints School in Weymouth, were designed to simulate the experience of visiting each country.
Students dropped into cafes' and hotels' to practise asking for services in different languages.
The school's language department organised the European villages week to bring a little flavour of the continent to students who have never travelled to the countries before.
Students from other secondary schools in the area were invited to visit All Saints to take part in the themed week.
